Guillaume Vadeboncoeur has just provided us with a scan of a 2¢, which is one we all should be looking for. It is the first time a re-entry showing doubling in all 5 zones has been reported. The doubled lines in the nose and forehead are striking.
It was almost two years ago that we reported 5F2.2 and now, thanks to a nice auction win by Jim Jung, we have more information on this very interesting CPV.
Guy Jeffery has been at it again. After a very successful visit to the Royal in Fredericton recently, he submitted two covers. The first is a great domestic cover showing a strip of three of the 1¢. The left stamp showing 1F8.1s2 and providing us with a date for this CPV. The second cover, to the US is franked with the earliest reported example of 6F2.1 from position A-66.
Previously, he had sent me two examples of a new 3¢ CPV - 3F1.24, a scratch in the 'CE' of Cents.
